    The brief

    About Homeland Ghana Educational Foundation

Since 2018 the charity has supported over 3,600 students through more than 58 school-based interventions. It needed a website and a steady social presence to share that work and grow its supporters.

As a growing charity, Homeland Ghana Educational Foundation needed every pound and every post to work hard. Its aim was to bring its work in Ghanaian schools to supporters in the UK and beyond, and to turn interest into donations, volunteering and partnerships.

    The Challenge

    • Make a charity budget go further, with a website and social plan that deliver steady results without large ad spend.

    • Tell a clear impact story to international donors, showing the difference the charity's school programmes make.

    • Build an official website as the trusted home for the mission, impact, news and ways to give.

    • Make it simple for donors, volunteers and partners to get involved, with clear routes to donate, volunteer and get in touch.

    • Grow an engaged audience on Instagram and Facebook from a small starting base, with a steady rhythm of content.

    • Turn real stories into regular content, from textbooks and teacher training to the child rights and menstrual health projects.

    Our Solution

    • Designed a user-friendly and visually appealing website aligned with the organisation’s branding.

    • Developed sections for About, Our Impact, Get Involved, News, and Contact, providing clear calls to action for donations, volunteering, and participation.

    • Included impact metrics, success stories, and regular news updates to engage users.

    • Implemented an interactive contact form for easy communication with the organisation.

    • Regular impact storytelling: partnerships, textbooks, child rights workshops and the menstrual health project.

    • Reels, carousels and weekly Instagram Stories, including spotlights, quizzes and polls.

    • Selective boosts on priority posts to reach new audiences.
